I took this class thinking it was just going to fulfill a GE but I actually really liked it. I may even want to pursue taking a different course related to this field. It was really eye opening to see how the world is affected by us and how we do things, such as litter, drive our gas-filled cars, and how we just keep buying plastic reusable bags and then throwing them out instead of REUSING them, like we should. Anyways Wendy St. John was very passionate about this subject which made it more easier to learn about and focus on for lecture. Overall, I think this class was super fun and I am glad I went out on a whim and took this in the first place.

Professor St.John is one of my favorite professors so far at SSU. This is the 2nd semester I have had her as my professor. She is so understanding inside and out of class and is always encouraging students to come to her office hours. She connects with her students not only through the curriculum but also personally. I thoroughly enjoyed this class. The materials were interesting. Professor St John is a wonderful person and instructor. She cares about her students and tries her hardest to provide the best education possible for them. She also loves alligators and that’s a huge bonus.

More often than not did I find myself cracking up at Wendy’s loony demeanor and I wish more people could be like this!
